Collectible Decorations and Beaded Purses

Artisans in India, using traditional techniques passed down through the centuries, individually handcraft each item. Sequins, beads, silks and metallic threads are inticately combined to create beautiful and unique purses and decorations.

Our artisans have been carefully selected for their sills and their excellent working environmments.

USING THE DECORATIONS

Caroline Mitchell decorations are superb ornaments for Christmas, and all year round. A few of ur customers' favourite ways to use them include: around napkins on the table, in floral arrangements, on doorknobs and dresser drawers, or simply around the neck of a bottle of wine. These decorations fare too gorgeous to put away after the holidays!

STACKING DOLLS

Our famous stacking dolls are made to the highest quality. Designs include the ever popular Wahine and Tiki dolls for New Zealand, and the Birds of Australia doll. Each one is crafted from wood turned locust and hand fisnished using paint and appliques.

New for 2012

Our 100% genuine leather stationary range features birds and florals embossed onto the top of notebooks, ipad covers and pencil cases. We've also introduced Umang Notebooks, which feature original artwork from the students of the Umang Initiative in Jaipur.

And in the later part of the year we will introduce a beautiful range of shaped cushions that are delicately embroidered and beaded to create a real showstopper.

And in New Zealand we will introduce a new Birds of NZ stacking doll, while across the Tasman we will introduce the Koala Family stacking doll.
